Cost: $40 per child (additional siblings $35 each- must be in the age range for this class)

-In future classes we would love to share how to clean and cook fish, for these classes we will practice catch and release.
Our vision for Nature Hooked is to get more families out in to nature learning new skills that the next generation can carry on. Nature Hooked will give you the skills and tools to feel comfortable taking your kids out fishing. It will give your kids the hands on experience to learn water safety, casting, hook tying, participate in actual fishing and more. This two week, four hour program will dive into all things fishing. This will be basic fishing from shore using a hook bobber and worms. We split them up into two age ranges so that even the youngest fishers can gain experience.
*We ask that you provide a life jacket for your child 6 and under to wear when we are around the water fishing.
*Adults 17 years of age and old need a fishing license, this can be purchased through the Michigan DNR website $26 annual $10 daily. Not necessarily needed for the program, if you handle the fishing pole it is needed.
*We ask that each adult have only 2 children with them, if you are signing up more than two children and additional adult is advised for children under 7 years old. We want to make sure everyone is safe.
*Each of these programs has a maximum of 10 kids. We will have a number of dates this summer to choose from.
