Programs for Preschoolers
Most of our programming will take place at
Killingsworth Park: 2807 Chandler Rd, Traverse City, MI 49696.(unless noted in programming details below).
At this time, all of our children’s and family programs require a parent or guardian to remain on-site during the session. We are actively working to hire an additional instructor so that we may offer drop-off classes in the future. Thank you for your continued support as we grow and expand our programs.
Nature Tots
Ages: 3-5 years old with ADULT
(older siblings allowed with $5.00 charge)
Cost: $10.00 per child Per class.
Time: 9:30am-10:30am

May 8th & 22nd, 2026
June 11th & 25th, 2026
During this one-hour program, parents/guardians and their young children are invited to explore nature together. Each session will include a 15–30 minute guided hike, with ample opportunities for hands-on nature exploration along the way. As participants build strength and confidence, hiking distances will gradually increase. We will also incorporate a craft or related activity during our time together. Families are welcome to arrive early or stay afterward to continue exploring and connecting with other families and friends.
Please note: the trail is not stroller accessible. For younger children, a child carrier is recommended.
